Introducing Compiwer Education

Our school app for teachers, students and parents. Our mission: bring intelligent, AI-assisted school software to every school, small or large.

Most schools still run on a mix of paper registers, spreadsheets, group chats and a platform or two that charge per student. Teachers spend evenings copying marks. Parents find out about a bad term when the report card arrives. Small schools often can't afford the tools big schools use, and big schools end up juggling five of them.

Today we're releasing Compiwer Education, our answer to that.

Our mission

Bring intelligent, AI-assisted school software to every school, small or large, so teachers spend less time on paperwork, students get help when they need it, and families always know how their children are doing.

A village school with one office and a city school with thousands of students get the same app.

What's in it

  • Lessons, homework and quizzes. Lessons in units, homework with files and due dates, and quizzes that mark themselves.
  • Marks and report cards. A gradebook with coefficients and report cards per term. Marks are out of 20 by default, or any scale the school chooses.
  • Attendance and the timetable. Absences and late arrivals per lesson, the week's timetable for each group, and tests and homework on a shared calendar.
  • Notices and messages. School notices with images, files and videos, and messages between parents, students, teachers and the office.
  • Live classes, built in. A teacher starts a video call for the class and students join from the app. There's chat, a raised hand, screen sharing, and a list of who joined. No separate meeting app or account is needed.
  • A free assistant. It drafts lessons, quiz questions and report-card comments for teachers, and helps students revise, within a daily limit the school sets.
  • An office dashboard. Accounts, groups, classes and teachers in one place, with the students who need attention this term.

Built for how schools work

  • Three languages. Every screen is in Arabic, French and English, with a proper right-to-left layout in Arabic. Each person picks their own.
  • The school is in charge. There is no public sign-up. The office creates every account for teachers, students, parents and other staff, and can reset a password or disable an account at any time.
  • Privacy by default. Students are never named in what the assistant sends to an AI model. In a live class, audio and video go straight between the people in the call, and nothing is recorded.

Get it

Compiwer Education runs on Android (download the app), on iPhone and iPad (open edu.compiwer.ai in Safari, then Add to Home Screen), and in any up-to-date browser. Everything is on the Compiwer Education page.

The first school using it is Institut El Yakada 2, from the 2026/2027 school year. To set it up for your school, email us at hello@compiwer.ai (opens in new tab) for a school code.

What's next

Live classes work best with up to about 20 people today, and we're working on support for larger classes. The Android app isn't on Google Play yet, so Android asks once to allow the install. Both are on our list.

If you're a teacher, a parent or run a school, we'd like to hear what would help you most.
